Recently, the international electrotechnical commission (IEC) specifications "industrial plug and socket - is used in low pressure connector mobile energy storage unit (TS 60309-6)" get voted, from the state grid corporation of China and German experts as a convener.This standard belongs to the "industrial plug socket" technical committee (TC23 / SC23H), from China, Germany, Canada, France and Sweden and other countries experts participate in the development of standards.


IEC TS 60309-6 standardizes the integration or fixed to the general requirements for electrical equipment on the two-way connectors.The connector will move the energy storage unit (including the electric car battery box) to connect to a dedicated charger and/or energy consumption unit, suitable for single phase/three-phase ac or dc, its rated current shall not exceed 400 ampere, does not exceed the rated voltage ac 1000 v or dc 1500 v;This standard docking ground pins and/or optional auxiliary stitch (used for signal and data transmission), and other specifications.
